  • The factory

Once upon a time, there was a fascinating story. The Charolles Manufacture: a journey through time, into the deep and mysterious forests of Southern Burgundy, but above all into the hearts of men and women with linked destinies. It all began in 1844, when Hippolyte Prost, a native of the country, took over his father's pottery workshop, thus laying the first stone of a company that would mark time and history.

  • A know-how

More than a know-how, ceramics is an art, of which there are beautiful vestiges, but also good days to come. Ceramics dust themselves off, become modern, display themselves and decorate our trendiest interiors. What is this ancestral know-how that has returned to the forefront? Enter Charolles, open the doors of the workshop and let yourself be transported by 176 years of history

  • Living Heritage Company

In 2016 , Charolles manufacture received the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV) label. A recognition from the State which makes it possible to distinguish manufacturing excellence, rare know-how and highlight the high added value of “made in France” manufacturing. Located in the heart of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, the Faïencerie de Charolles has been promoting ceramic know-how since 1844. Today, nothing has changed

  • Originality at the heart of our creations

The Manufacture's creations are much more than furniture or decorative objects, they are the stories of men and women, of an art, of a region, of a country. It is the history of French craftsmanship through the centuries, which today enhances your interior decoration
