Ecorce Vase

In collaboration with the Designer Sculptor Cédric Breisacher, we invited him to create an exclusive piece in our workshops, carved with a gouge directly into the material. This vase is distinguished by its unique volumes and roughness, coming to life under the application of our transparent enamels which highlight the meticulous sculpting work.

This piece by C. Breisacher, designer cabinetmaker, highlights the collaboration between two artistic professions, whose gesture is at the heart of the know-how. Telling the story of craftsmanship and revealing it through transparent enamels is the primary objective of the Faïencerie de Charolles; by offering objects that bear the trace of the tool and the gesture of those who make and design.
